My mine area of expertise is the investigation and treatment of heart rhythm problems. These include use of complex techniques such as catheter ablation using 3-D mapping systems and all aspects of device therapy inclusive of pacemakers, defibrillators and cardiac resynchronisation therapy for heart failure. I have a particular interest in the catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation and the use of anticoagulation to reduce stroke risk in atrial fibrillation.
I am a member of the Royal College of Physicians, the British Cardiac Society and the British Heart Rhythm Society.
I practise within the NHS at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital and privately at the Nuffield Hospital Exeter.
